The survey categorized source and consumption of water into two types: domestic use (i.e., washing, laundry, bathing, and sanitation)and drinking/cooking water. Seventy-two percent (72%) of the households source their domestic water from vendors. Nineteen percent (19%) have piped connection as a group, while 8% have piped connections with individual meters. The average cost of water sourced from water vendors is PhP1,126.75 per month. In contrast, the average cost of water sourced from group metered and individual metered piped connection are PhP868.75 and PhP926.69, respectively.
